Title: Pixar to scale back on sequels
Post by: music box on June 28, 2013, 10:37:34 PM
I don't know how many of you like animated films, but it seems that Pixar has realized that sequels aren't really the way to go. Not 100%

I'm glad to hear it. We just saw Monsters University and I was in awe of the rendering of the wood, velvet seats, carpets, grass and fur. I thought then that I wish they would make quality films with good stories. Their skills are tremendous, they shouldn't waste them.

I agree. There is no fault with the animation at all. When I saw Brave I was in awe at how beautiful it was visually. Their issues have been with stories and characters.

There's nothing wrong with sequels as such, but it's good to see they're
planning to focus on things without numbers at the end.....
