Title: Breaking Bad
Post by: music box on September 27, 2013, 11:21:18 AM
Anyone else watch this show?

I literally just got into watching it 2 weeks ago. I breezed through the seasons on Netflix and Comcast and got all caught up in time for the finale this Sunday.

I started watching it when it was on its second season and I think it's one of the few shows that never dissapointed me. I love how you can have episodes filled with adrenaline, and others that are quite uneventful but full of human interactions that bring the best and worst out of the characters. Can't wait for the finale.

Even though I rushed through the whole series I have been watching the marathon on AMC all week lol. 7 hours until it ends!

I'm not at all ready for the finale.
There's still so many things I want answered!

i've read about that marathon! Ι wish I had the time to watch it all over again! Let's just hope we don't get dissapointed by the finale and maybe I'll watch it from scratch in its entirety after that!

I still haven't watched this show.  I saw the first episode and thought it was really good, but I blame life getting the way of TV.

Pfft, what a poor excuse that is :P

Thank God for that finale!!! I'm not gonna spoil anything but I'm happy with how everything ended. Last week's Dexter finale was so dissapointing, that I don't think I could have handled another one of my favourite shows ending so badly.

I too was pleased with how it ended, sure there are still a few things I want to know, but they're only tiny things that really have nothing to do with the story.

Spoilers ahead, obviously...

I wasn't happy with how Walt died. I fully expected him to die in the finale, but I feel like the way he just bled out from a single gunshot wound was ridiculous. "Felina" wasn't a bad episode, but I didn't like it as a finale.

Spoiler

I liked the fact that in a way he actually killed himself (it was his automated gun and bullets that killed him), something that was suggested many times in the past, and something he never seemed to have the courage to do before. He could have let his cancer beat him, but that would be the coward thing to do. Also suicide is generally considered a very selfish thing to do but here it feels the exact opposite. Walt did everything to survive for the entire run of the show, and he managed to step on loads of bodies just to protect the idea of his dream life, but in the end after admiting he did it for himself, he wanted to leave the best possible world for his loved ones, and he knew such a world could not include him.
