Title: Bluesboy -- Amanda Solo Cover
Post by: guuurrrrrllltakeiteasy on August 15, 2007, 09:43:18 PM
I did this one by ear and let me tell you, it was HELL. That out of tune piano. UGH. But whatevz cuz at least I did it and that's all that counts. By the way, I play a little tiny bit of Guitar Hero. Nor am I actually that fat, yes I'm pleasantly plump, but not that huge, it was just the sweater mmkay?

Very cool. Congratulations on tackling it, I really wish the old demos got more appreciation. The singing-style was a bit too much for it though. Maybe something a bit quieter? Either way, it was still nice. He he, June, Echo, and Provanity are starving for attention by the way. >_>

June is actually my favorite solo song, theres just something about it. I like the echo in all her demos.

here are the chords. amazing it took me 30 minutes to do it even though it was an out-of-tune piano with an echo. oh well, at least I feel good about it. Ps. this is how I play it, it's not really that accurate but rather playable and you can play along with the song.

intro:G B

 G                       B                                 G                           B
Bright, my little bluesboy. You smile too much, let's see a nice frown.
                      G                   B
Don't touch so much.
G                        B                              G                       B                              Em
He made it look fun, what's done is done -- I am so stupid -- you are so young.
     Am/E  Em  Am/E  Em    C                                                                 B
Still I'd have to say that now and then I'd cry to see your smile.
G                   B                           G                          B                                    Em
Still I had no reason, I have no rhyme, I'm out of your time, you're out of town.
    Am/E   Em  Am/E  Em                 C
A difference not in years but in distance from a place that I look through.
C     Am/C   Em              G7     Em                   C
You aren't here, and I have hope. but not enough, no, not enough.
             F                  A                      G                 B
Not so little that I'd dare to tie the rope.
G                        B                            G                       B                            G            B
She lied for you twice, she doesn't like me. I understand but she isn't nice.
       G                 B                                G                             B                            Em
And I sit by the window, you wrote a story, you think I'm evil, I hope you're wrong.
      Am/E Em Am/E Em        C
Still I felt a spark when it implied that I'd been a good thing, once.
C   Am/C  Em                   G7                           G
I'm so dumb, and you're still young. But not enough, no, not enough.
            F                      Am                           Gm
Not so old that you'd realize what you've done.

Pps. for the Am/E Em Am/E Em parts that's just being altered, I just had no space to write them in with the specific lyric.
