pass this on, kiddies...
the pops have agreed to do a "family and friends" discount, and amanda got them to allow us to use it until the show is sold out!
this means if you ain't got yours yet, now's the muthaflippin' time to do so!

this show is going to be amazing, guaranteed, and now with this hopefully almost everyone has a chance to get in.

so,
to get the code, please e-mail streetteam@amandapalmer.net with the subject "NYE ticket discount code"
then we'll send you the deets. cool? cool.

p.s. we can't announce this super-publicly BUT please email/txt/IM this to ANYONE you want...
send to lists!!! just have 'em write to streetteam@amandapalmer.net and we'll do the rest.
go nuts.

love,
team afp

Sad I wish I could make it down to Boston that night. And y'know had the money at all. I really wish I could go.

If we already bought tickets, is there any way to retroactively get the discount? Even though I did scrape together enough for a full-price ticket, it sure as hell wasn't easy .....

If I didn't already have plans to be in Seattle with my girlfriend for New Years, and if I had any money whatsoever, I would buy a ticket and fly all the way across the country for this. I'd buy a ballgown, too.

Um, wow.  This is amazing.  But, yeah - is there any way to make this retroactive for those of us who already scraped together money we don't really have to go to this show?   This is an incredible thing to do, and it's not that I don't appreciate it, but it feels a little like a slap to those of us who already spent the money - especially when it wasn't easy to come by.

True.  It's hard to get the money retroactively to people, because we didn't buy through Amanda, we bought through the Symphony Hall ticketing, which has it's own set of fees/staff/policies.  But if anyone does figure out a way to do it, a good percentage of the money I'll get back will go straight back into AFP merch (especially that beautiful poster that I already talked myself out of because I can't afford it).
