Yeah, I saw that. I was just speaking for myself. I never buy it when there's talk of a breakup. Everybody gets back together eventually for one reason or another. (This assumes a breakup is even in the cards, which I don't buy.)

Does slightly beyond include California?
Shaddup. The Dolls are always on the West Coast for New Year's. Us East Coast types need some love. I mean, c'mon, how can you expect us to see them less than, like, 30 times every year? Stop being so demanding!

;)

doug:

do you feel the love now for east-coast types?

nyc on new years eve, can't be any more east coast!

; - } i'm being a wee bit unfair here - doug was poking fun at rob, in the quoted post

So anyone want to help me out with making a decision of Boston vs. NYC?  (Assuming I can't do both, which is what is most likely)

This is what I have so far --

NYC: (+++++) freakin New Year's Eve show, (-) cost of ticket, (-) cost of train, (-) maybe having to leave early b/c of train, (-) wandering around NYC during New Year's trying to catch or wait for train and possibly being swarmed by drunken people while possibly drunken

Boston: (+) no train, (+) not crazy New Year's, (+) hometown loving, (+) lesser cost of ticket, (---) not New Year's show, (-) further away

By your +/-s, they both scored 1. I vote Boston.

Tickets at TM usually go on sale at 10 AM or noon local time. I'm guessing the Dolls will also sell tickets here but nothing's listed yet. (Before somebody asks, yes, the link is legit. I just don't know if they'll have anything this time around.)

I just signed up for the ticketmaster alert thing, so I'll know an hour ahead via text.

In sum, you guys are totally unhelpful.  *grin*  Who has gone to a New Year's show and can tell me whether I'm giving too many/too little plusses there?
