The pop-inspired LP sold just 658 copies in its first week of release, according to Nielsen Soundscan. This certainly won’t be good news for Heidi’s accountant. The Hills star is so intent on becoming the next Britney Spears she practically bankrupted herself producing the set.

“….I put every dollar I have into this. I’ve spent over $1 million, almost $2 million, on this album. It’s cost as much or more than a Britney Spears album because I wanted it to be that quality … (But) I think within the first week we will definitely make our money back. The songs will make an impact in pop history,” she told EW last week.

...it seems to me that this woman has clearly been robbed by the people involved in
this "project", and I can't approve of that.

Consider the likelihood that Heidi Montag's acting career will ever create anything remotely
memorable, then you tell me....

Don't.  She spends ridiculously too much (unless she's including marketing in the price tag), and breaks the first rule of anything, which is to put as little of your own money into something as possible.  She's about one incestuous relationship away from a Greek tragedy.

I'm almost tempted to go download this to see where all that money went, but something tells me it'd be a little hard to find...
