with that resolution I got a scrollbar too. see if you can use another one. I have a 17" screen and 1280x1024 is fairly good - no small letters or whatever.

Depending on the size of your screen, you might prefer another resolution. There are variable aspect ratios, and some will make everything a bit bigger, some will make everything a bit smaller, but as long as they're PROPORTIONATE, your av won't have a scrollbar.
