Now, the site certainly doesn't seem to be having any activity problems so this isn't a "problem", rather an inconvenience for me (maybe others, which is why I make) concerning the board format.

I would suggest...

The Dresden Dolls
General Discussion (News, rumors, opinion topics)
History/Side-Projects (A topic for the S/T, a topic for Yes Virgina..., etc.)
Tours (A specific thread made for each date)
Street Team (I think one forum would be sufficient)

Other
General Discussion
Music
Film & Television
Literature (Books, comics, etc.)
Technology (Hardware, software, video games)

Huge DD-fan, love all of those I met, internet forum junkie yet I just find un-motivating to post here regularly seeing as how they're are so many individual sub forums to check, that it's actually a bit overwhelming.

The less sub-forums, the more activity. Also, I'd like to be able to have the typical 40 posts per page. As silly as it sounds, the more pages I see, again, the less motivated I am to click as it seems like an overwhelming amount of posts to catch up on.

Everything Else, Anarchy, Current Events, Grey Matters, Misc. for example should just all be "general" instead of 5 different sub-forums that need to be checked for essentially the same idea.

I won't call it "privacy" exactly, but I really like having the registered-people-only
aspect of Anarchy.  Beyond that, if some consolidation isn't an undue hassle, it
seems to me like it could be a good idea....

That was the way it used to be, then it changed - i didn't care for it, but now I've grown used to it and actually kind of like how I can go to the types of threads I specifically want to see, rather than sort through a bunch of random ones.
