Flash Mobs and Banksy
« on: September 11, 2007, 08:44:22 AM »

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flash_mob

Anyone ever done something like this, or witnessed one?
I have always wanted to do something like this but I never knew that there was a word for it until today.

I've been reading about Banksy lately.

And I'm starting to formulate some ideas for Boston...

never.

Im a boring person who likes to stay static.if the world would depends on me to organize a mob to the survivence of thehuman being, we would be dead. just to think about a flash mob i get tired... and i would never be on a flash mob.. unless if it were a flash zombie.

I assembled this team for purposes of a League of Extraordinary Gentlemen thing, but in reading this thread it occurs to me they're all highly bangable. Yeah, even Spider Jerusalem.

Banksy seems to be respected by many people who wouldn't usually say they 'appreciate art'. He's a bit of a legend in England.

Whenever I go to a major city, it's always great to see one of his works down some random alleyway.

Or, you know, on the steps leading up to the Tate Modern.

I initiated a flashmob some weeks ago. It was brilliant. Flashmob #2 next Sunday, and we still haven't completely figured out what to do.
