right figured my act for the preshow queue entertaining will be
...
glen or glenda/ half man half woman character with a twist.

it will be a classic magician+magicians assistant fused as one. (going along with the freakshow thing)

me and rose are really up for doing some brigading this year, not sure what to do yet. this is wat we have came up with so far:
Rose on stilts (giant woman) maybe with an umbrella covered in playing cards with shit written on them and giving them out.
''goodnight evelyn'' playing in the background on a loop, or maybe some really old circus music.
oragami cubes to promote the shadowbox.net (if we can open them maybe put stuff in it?).
old fashion popcorn bags?
old fashion circus posters?

yeah, any advice/feedback?

That all sounds really cool mark. Good luck to rose making stilt trousers.
What are you dressing up as? I can pm you some ideas that you might be interested in.

Popcorn bags - I could do a batch run at the uni if needed and then its just a case of assembly
If you do the artwork/logo for evelyn evelyn popcorn then I can add it to a bag template/sort the printing/cutting folding.
Will have to ask the shadowbox for submissions eg art/poetry/things to put in the fan-goody bags
I can also do a run of stickers of SB artwork/evelyn evelyn submissions (if permission granted pm me guys)

hope that all made sense. Found my costume parts, still need a single woman left god heel or flat shiny shoe in size 10

okay, well i think Rose has now changed to a marionette now. and she will be walking up the steet etc or depending on the street she will have her own wee area.

i have no idea what im doing yet, i've not got quite to the stage to dress up etc etc. but i will be will to hand out stuff.

ok. so i think the popcorn bags are in, but i just don't have the time to design something. i think we could prob go for the old fashion EE template. which i think is floating around? i dunno someone on the art forums as recently done EE templates.

thanks, but we have not stilts, and i don't know if i could walk in them etc. but i like that idea, maybe we could find somone else on the box that is going and would like to be roses puppet master?...

me and rose are going up early so we can save a space for yous if you want, (this space will be our headquaters )  we're also bringing amanda, jason and their crew some food.

Mark what about mirrors?
You could have a costume similar in theme to Roses
and mimic/mirror each others marionette movements
(would take a fair bit of practice beforehand)(ever seen the scene in interview with the vampire with santiago and Louis in the archway? Similar to that)
Or you could work in a transferrance of movement
*as if you were on the same mechanism*
look up fantasilebeastile from edinburgh
She and her friend as 'the curious collective' did an amazing show with the Ukbrigade in 07 as these characters doing simlar movements with a spring coil worked between them
