i love the album. the tragic events series is amazing & heartbreakingly sweet.

however, i cannot stand Chicken man.

Neither can Mr Frog. He is going to be so happy when he sees that I put it in a playlist on his iPod 100 times.

so far I've play 'You Only Want Me . . .' 'Campaign of Shock & Awe' and 'Have you Seen my Sister Evelyn?' - will probably get to 'Evelyn Evelyn' and 'Love Will Tear Us Apart' before 10 - so you still got time to tune in!

i love it when artists i love have really odd coincidences in common and they don't even know it.... like talking/singing about the chicken man for example...

Or Mike Chickenman.  That guy's epic.

Anyway, album's decent, seems to peter off in the second half.  The Tragic Events add much needed humor to the whole thing.  Biggest complaint, though is the new (censored, neutered, sterilized, PMRC approved) Have You Seen My Sister lyrics, which, when held side by side with the older version, show just how much depth a few words can add (or in this case, remove) from a song.

they are there but they are layered on top of each other. It's gang vocals.

Tune in to like the last minute or 30 seconds of the song, pay attention to the "i just want my spaaaaaace" part and the short pause between the main lyric line (you can hear some guest vocalists improvising) and listen to the "oh oh ohhhhs" carefully
