Ooooooooooooooooohkay.
Yeah. The assistant/companion/whatever is also less disappointing than I expected but I'm not suuuuure about her yet.
I freaked out when I saw the parts of the preview thing with the Weeping Angels. I'm looking forward to that in particular.

It looks like there are going to be new things too, which is a relief as previous trailers hinted at lots of the same stuff reapearing and little else....although I would love to see some really old adversaries appearing ( bring on the sea devils!)

I don't hate the new Doctor. I usually always hate the new Doctor few at least a few weeks. I do hate the new opening credits but that is just me being picky.

I loved the holographic montage of all the past Doctors.

I like him.

Far less emo than 10ant.

Less shouty, gurny, huggy, weepy.

Good stuff.

The Pond girl seem alright too. Very pretty. Tall. Ginger. But I wish they'd give him a weird assistant for once. Less of the awestruck normals.

Wish they'd just fuck off mucking around with the theme tune, though. Go back to the original, I say. The old radiophonic workshop version can't be improved upon and there is simply no need to change it. Ever. Imo.

I loved it.

New companion rules. She is funny, and I have such a thing for ginger women. I like them a bit older mostly, but she is mega-hot.

Yus! She is indeed.

I didn't realise how annoying 10ant was getting until now he's gone xD He's just a bit gurny. Really the only problem I have with this one is his complete lack of eyebrows. Does nobody else care about this?! EYEBROWS ARE IMPORTANT!!

I didn't say he was annoying - the character was getting FUCKING annoying though. They just kept falling back on the same damn things - feels like a real breath of fresh air now that RTD and DT are both gone. It's nice.

I think DT got that way on purpose. Unlike other Doctors, he was really starting to come apart at the seams. Like he succumbed to all his time with humanity and started making huge mistakes.

I think RTD was great for Dr. Who in general, but he really was repeating himself and focusing too much on making the 10th Doctor ALWAYS being in a state of crisis. He did the same thing to Torchwood. He needs to lighten up a bit.

Hopefully the new Doctor keeps things a little lighter, and the dark episodes will have so much more impact for it.
