Anyone know how I can watch this without owning a tv or living in Europe? I really want to see the new doctor without waiting for the DVD...

torrent the sucker. My wife and refused to wait for BBC America to get around to showing the new episodes, so we download that crap. Then we watch 'em again when they air for real because we iz nerdy like dat.

What if I suck at torrents? Every time I've tried it takes forever and I don't have internet at home..

Sorry, my wife does it for me. I ride the fail boat on teh internetz.

My sister steals pre-acquires Dr Who off tha interwebz.

If she brings me a disc, I'll send you a copy.
(...but you have to promise to watch it as soon as you get a TV and they broadcast it there...)

I can "promise" to try to go to a friends house and watch.
And that would be fantastic and wonderful and beautiful Charlie.

"14 years since Fish Custard.."

That part was like torture for poor pregnant me to watch. I was laughing and feeling like I was going to throw up all at the same time.

I just watched the latest episode. Sort of felt like they were doing a dalek episode because they thought they had to. I'm not a huge fan of the rainbow daleks either.

I think next week will be better. Weeping Angels FTW.

daleks always used to be vat grown squiddy brains in a jar.....(originally humanoid but genetically enhanced and purified by Davros to create his army) I imagine that they all get together and squirt goop into a vat

So what you're saying is they're all [ahem] Rainbow, but the rainbow is solid grey-green.... ?

Just forgive them for the most recent episode. It was written by Mark Gatiss, who I hate, and he did a frankly rotten horrible job. BUT I HAVE HIGH HOPES FOR THE REST OF THE SERIES!! And for the lovely Amelia xD

since our debate about CGI in Doctor Who - Audrey stops me everytime CGI is used and asks
"what did you think of that, was that ok? did you like it? Did it work?"
in danger of being quoted out of context but meh...lol

It happens sometimes...  Something you never paid any attention to is pointed out, and
suddenly you realize it was in front of you, in great quantity, ALL THE TIME, and further
that it interests you to some degree...

A is a visual artist, so I'm not at all surprised that she notices when someone sticks a
big (often poorly done) computer-generated drawing in the middle of her TV screen...

So yeah. I really liked it. Not a let down at all. Loving the Moffat. Vive le Moffat. May whatshisface T Davis never return.

Fuck the Daleks. Weeping Angels FTW.

And I still like Matt & Karen. They got it right from the get go. Kudos them. I very much appreciate how ungurny MattDoctor is. Seriously. Thank you, Matt Smith, for your lack of emo shoutyness, wide-eyed grinnyness and OTTTimelord wankery.

Bonus points awarded for River Song's shoes. And Alex Kingston for being very attractive in the 'Confidential' afterwards when nobody had tried to tame her mad hair. Love her mad hair. Let it fly free!

Nobody told me it was a two-parter, though. Not fair. I have to wait A WEEK? *gets pissed off, points gun in the air, etc*
