Now I have a question. Am I the only one whose a bit annoyed with Rose in the way she dealt with Mickey?
Tough call.....

I mean, on the one hand, Mickey was a tool, and he was out of his league with her to begin with....
...but she did kinda dick him over.

^She totally dicked him over, but it was never going to end well for those two. But that's OK - characters are allowed to do dicky things that we think are unreasonable, even/especially if we love those characters :) Cue the Doctor's entire relationship with Martha - he spend a whole series being a dick to her, and then she just BAMFs her way out of it like a muthafucka. I've decided to love Martha now xD

I've also decided to stop watching Moffat's Who because it makes me sad and angry. Even not watching it, I still had a lengthy conversation today about what a cunt he is xD

After totally geeking out about a farscape actor being in the show, I got really depressed about that last episode. A GUN? SERIOUSLY? DO I NEED TO YOUTUBE ALL THE TIMES HE SAID GUNS WERE BAD?

I haven't watched it and that makes me sad. THOSE THINGS ARE NEVER USEFUL.

Guns absolutely are useful.

as paperweights
as a bargaining chip
as a quick way to get money
as a game
as a way to guarantee access to socialized medicine in a heavily structured environment.

My concern is that Matt Smith is the 11th doctor. By rule, there's only one regeneration left.

They get 12 regenerations. So that means there are two left.

At least there would have been but they conveniently made him immortal a couple of years ago http://www.guardian.co.uk/tv-and-radio/2010/oct/12/doctor-who-immortal-reveals-bbc

1. Regeneration - They'll swing it somehow. It might be hella lame and deus ex, but whatever.

2. Chiwitel Ejiofor - Oh my God yes, please, for fuck's sake. Or, Idris Elba <3 ! He's already got the right name xD Certainly time for a BAMFy black Doctor though.

3. Guns' uselessness - You have to work on your BTVS references, bro ;) Though I got it wrong, should have said 'helpful', not 'useful'....

I'm reminded of the big gunfight at the end of "Quigley Down Under".........

just finished watching season 4 with the specials! i really can't think of better episodes. Amazing doctor and amazing companion. i really wish there would have been more Tennant+Tate episodes. Tomorrow i'm starting with season 5 and i'm really afraid of the change.

I'd be down for that.

But what I really would be down for is some Martha and Doctor make outs.

the past couple of weeks i managed to watch the entire series so i could watch the Angels take Manhatan in time. i can't believe i hadn't started watching this earlier. it instantly became one of my favorite series! as for the last episode it was very well made, and probably one of the best in the entire series. My fave duo was Tennant and Tate, but still i think Matt Smith is brilliant, and i really liked the idea of a married couple as the companions. The Ponds were ideal! I also believe their farewell was the most beautifully planned of all the companion farewells in the series. such a poetic, meaningful and emotionally profound episode. can't wait for more now.i may have to dig on the archive of the old series, so as not to lose touch with the doctor until christmas comes.

so who else cried while watching The Angels Take Manhattan?

I cried. I had no idea before watching that this was their last one! Also the angels are the scariest villains.
