Peter Capaldi and Craig Ferguson were in a band together back in the day, Peter was the lead singer.

He's already been a guest of Craig's late-night talk show at least once (there's clips on YouTube), but his next appearance should be fucking EPIC.

THIS!  so much excite.

If you've never seen Capaldi in action. Here he is at his best.

I speak for 90% of the Americans who watched the love broadcast when I say, "Who?"

I don't get caught up in the choice of actor, merely the choices of the actor for the role.

This is an adorable photo. All the enthusiasm and wonder I love about the Doctor. I really need to get back up to speed on Doctor Who. Moffat is a little discouraging sometimes though.

I can relate to this; it doesn't help that every interview he gives he comes off as a douche.

I'm iffy about Peter as The Doctor, after his major role on Torchwood: Children of Earth. The way I see it, it's like casting John Simm as 12, but I'll give him a chance.

I have to admit I haven't seen any Torchwood yet. I still have a few Doctors from the classic era to watch, so maybe after that. I've only seen him on Neverwhere and The thick of it, and I have to admit I'm excited to see what he'll bring to the role. Plus I'd love to see how an older Doctor would look in the modern series. I'm in love with Hartnell's 1st.

I have to admit I haven't seen any Torchwood yet.

PAY CLOSE ATTENTION!

Despite whatever ANYONE may say, including the producers of the show,
there were only THREE seasons of Torchwood, and you should ONLY WATCH
THREE seasons of Torchwood, and NEVER EVER watch anything claiming
to be "the fourth season of Torchwood"....    :nono:

To be fair, Miracle Day is pretty much how things would play out in that scenario, scary as that thought is.
