The direction of the story in Miracle Day was NOT the problem. It was how it got there, how inane they wrote the new characters, and how they murdered everything that was great about the old cast that was left from the REAL Torchwood. I wish I never saw that crap.

Nope. I'm hoping though that Moffat and Chris have been lying this whole time, like Moffat lied about not knowing who was going to be 12(13), when from the start he knew it'd be Peter.

I know that feeling, but at least I got a dose of him in Thor: The Dark World, today.

I was silently crying in the cinema for the last 20 minutes of it!when the lights went on most people there had red eyes!I came back home and I'm about to watch it on my dvr for the second time now!I hope the videos before the episode made for the cinema appear online sometime. I loved the Doctor's intro, and STRAX!!!

It is a rare thing to have a precious memory from your childhood put on display for all to see and for that memory to be even better on reflection than it ever could have been the first time. THAT was what this did for me, especially hearing the words of the curator at the end... I cried.

It was fantastic. Absolutely fantastic. So many happy tears. And the opening title sequence? Love it.

I have to admit I didn't enjoy most of the episode, only the bits with John Hurt (is he 8.5?). I will re-watch it.

I'm nervous that this means that Moffat, by wiping out the premise of the new series, (which is that the Doctor committed genocide and is alone in the universe), is clearing the deck for his own brand of Who. I don't trust him at all.

Also, does no one care that Clara has Cap't Jack's vortex manipulator? She just pops up in 1587 & they're only surprised she could open the door.  :-\

11 cared enough to send her the password. Either she or prof. Stewart would use it, since he carved it on the walls of her "future" office.

One of the best episodes I have seen in the thirty years I have been watching. For once Moffat actually delivered on the hype. I wouldn't have changed any of it.
