Thank G-d I don't have them anymore, try taking exams on 2 neuro suppressants both of which have side effects of word hunting and short term memory loss.

I had to study for simple tests about 8-10 hours to get it stored in my long term memory on subjects I would've been able to take the test without even looking at the book before.

If anyone has to do lots of papers look into speech recognition, I had to due to my wrists (same cause for the meds) but found out how fast it is.  You can bust out pages of text in no time, just write up an outline and go.

Also to the graphic design major, switch to fine arts  O0, fewer tests and you can spend more time developing a style.  A lot of the graphic designers I know who are doing well did fine arts, those who studied graphic design for the most part know the programs but the work is much more standard.

xD Although I got to 3am today and failed completely to go back to the revision after Helm's Deep - I was way too excited xD
Helms Deep was filmed at a quarry about 5 minutes from where I live :D

Anyway, Accounting is first up tomorrow and I should be studying, but here I am! I hate accounting soooooooooooooo much, but I only have to get like 20% on the exam to pass the course, and then NEVER HAVE TO DO ACCOUNTING EVER EVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

YOU LIVE ABOUT FIVE MINUTES AWAY FROM FUCKING AWESOME. Don't suppose Minas Tirith is down the road, just past the corner shop, is it? xD

I woke up at 5am today. I don't have to go to school until 8.30 - been revising a tad, but also dealing with the glorious back pain the Big Man Upstairs has seen fit to dole out on me on this momentous day. Philosophy exam in five hours and fifty minutes, and I have a Cura-Heat patch on the middle of my back while the lower half is slathered in Ibuprofen gel. Just what you want when you're facing two hours sitting on a hard chair. URGH.

Unfortunately not xD
But Rivendell is about a 20 minute drive! Actually, the majority of the filming locations are within an hours drive! Except for the mountain pass, which a 4 hour drive.

Oh, I am COMING TO VISIT!! I live right near a Rivendell. It's a caravan site though. 's not so cool.

My philosophy exam was aaace xD I don't think it was A-standard, but I only need three Bs to get into Queen's Belfast so I'm still epically happy. The questions that came up were all ones that I could answer pretty happily, and there was one about miracles which I was pretty much praying for xD Am well pleased.

Sadly, over the day my back has worsened despite my sitting up straight and trying to be good to it, and I'm now in a really rather lot of pain and facing another exam tomorrow afternoon. I had to cancel working tonight because of it, which I hate. But then, I can hardly stand, let alone lug books about a library.

Are all of you guys in college or are some still in high school?  And how long does your school year extend (don't know where all of you are), because all of my friends an I finished our semesters by May (unless these are summer courses).  Just curious because it seems so late to be taking exams.  Anyway, good luck to all of you!

Unfortunately they demolished the sets after filming. Although they are reconstructing Hobbiton in preparation for filming of The Hobbit to commence.

Had two more today, hopefully went well. Now I only have Economics in one week.

Our high school year runs from 1st of September, to the end of June.

My university year runs from the end of September, to half June. Next year will run from the end of October to half June. Because I have to do a one month internship during summer (as part of the education we're getting), we get an extra month of 'vacation'.

Schoolyears here differ from school to school, though.

Today I have my "History and Topicality of Graphic Design" exam. It SHOULD go well.

I can't wait till friday, we'll have our last exam, and we'll have a class barbecue at our main professor's place, because she luuuuuvs us as a group (seriously, she always tells us we're the best and nicest group she's had in years and maybe even since forever)!

I'm at secondary school, but in what we call over here (and rightly xD) college, meaning I'm doing my A Levels - they take two years, I'm in my second. You do your GCSEs at the end of secondary, and then college isn't compulsory but you need A Levels to get into university. Our year started on 7th September, and it finishes... Ah, depends what you mean by "finishes" and what year you're in. Before GCSE your summer holidays start 23rd July. The GCSE students at my school are off now until ater their exams, with nothing to come in for except revision sessions. I imagine their exams finish sometime around the end of June. We have to come in to lessons until we've had the exam in it - they don't trust us with study leave xD They do strust the year below, though, which is a bit of a bitch, so they're not in either >:(

Well, that was rather overly comprehensive.

I've got English Lit this afternoon, and slept instead of revising. Wish me luck, because I suspect I'll need it xD

Is it sad that every time I hear about people taking A-levels now, I think of Skins which then leads me to naomily and therefore leads me sitting here going  :love5: ?
