Aaah, I dunno - I'm kinda liking the pill thing now ;)

A Pill really would suit me today. I must admit to not really liking most of the fruits that I can easily afford. Apples, bananas, oranges and pears… the weird sugary sharpness is really tiresome sometimes.

I agree sometimes, just taking a food pill would solve so many of my lazy problems. But I have to say that I love cooking so much more since I went vegan a few years ago.

I'm slowly easing myself back into being an Octo/Lavo vegetarian. I did it for 5 years before, but then I fell off the veggie cart!

What do you eat?

To be vegan and have a happy culinary life cooking and lots of it I would think is an essential skill due to the limited options out there.

I just don't really like food xD I mean, it's nice when it's really lovely stuff for like An Occasion and whatever, but day to day I just can't see the point. Rather not bother, tbh - pills all the way ;) They'd have to find a way of putting fibre into pill form as well though.... Actually, I'd eat one Shredded Wheat a day if it meant I could get everything else I need from pills. Seems like a fair compromise.

^ NO WAY!!

Ok, someone find a list of everything you need to survive and the quantities a 5'4" female with a relatively sedantry lifestyle would need - I'll get cracking on the pill plan xD

I'm vegan. :) It's actually ridiculously simple, if only it weren't for the ... uh ... ever-oh-so-charming bunny munchers who seemingly suffer from some sort of chronic disorder which involves continually telling me how sentimental and stupid I am for chewing tofu and not turkey. *Shakes head.* It's funny, really. ;) Ah, well, hold your heads high, fellow crazies, and pass those bunny pellets! (...and the bunny, if it's fluffly, thank you very much!)

I completely agree. Some people are complete jerks. They will ask for the reason why you are what you are and do what you do and then completely bash you (this is true for vegans and vegetarians alike). I don't go around preaching my veggie ways to people, so I'd like it if people didn't preach their meaty ways to me.

^^^^ live off of bean burritos with veggies/salsa, peanut butter, and grilled cheese.  :) Seriously, that's what I did for the first few years of vegetarianism.

I should probably mention I am allergic to bread haha so I can't go too overboard.

I know/knew a guy who once claimed that his diet consisted of mostly cheese and crackers… He was vegetarian and presumably was trying to pack in as much of the RDA of calories to live on in as few mouthfuls as possible.

Vegetable stews/curries are cheap and easy to make and if you want to maintain or gain weight you could add some additional relatively-good-for-you cooking oils into them. Nuts are pretty good for weight gain too.

I suppose you could also pay for all-you-can-eat and stock up on a couple of days worth of microwavable left overs if you want cheap ready meals. So tempting. ;D
