I dunno about "randomly" but if you find yourself in the neighbourhood,
give me a call and I'll see if I can work you into the meals-schedule...

(andohbytheway....  Would the curried chicken, potatoes and rutabegas/swedes I made tonight count as Southern?)

Charlie, if I ever get to the States, you are totally feeding me up before a night of drunken shennanigans.
Of course. . .
i hereby threaten to attend.

You make my mouth water. Curried chicken with potates and whatever the hell those other things are just sound so beautiful in my mouth, even the thought of it alone. Yum yum.

[as discussed in greater detail elsewhere, but relevant to this VEGETARIAN FOOD thread:]

rutabagas (aka Swedish turnips or Swedes) are a waxy-skinned root.  Peeled and cooked,
they have a similar texture to potatoes, but a different (still mild) flavour.  Your local grocer
probably stocks them in the produce section.

I've been a vegetarian since I was 12. Haven't eaten meat since. I sometimes eat fish though.

Yep... Mostly when people start to bitch about me being rude for not eating their food that they have specifically made for me(!) 'Cause, you know, vegetarians eat fish don't they?

Do they have omega 3? Because my mumseykins said she had misgivings about possible metal stuff in fish oil, but there weren't any alternatives.

(I kinda wanted to have real sushi, so I might become pesci anyway...)

^ Yarp. Flax doesn't work well with my systems (my skin actually went a bit blue when I ate a bunch) but I haven't heard anyone else have trouble with it.
