I don't eat any meat at all.
Not even fish or chicken. I think eating meat is wrong!! Do you ever think of the poor pig when your'e enjoying a big sausage!!!

yes, I do. Specifically, I hope it had plenty of equally tasty siblings.

Nonsense...  I bet you secretly really enjoy a big hot sausage...

You'd like to think that

evil-eaters are meat?!?

Evil eaters are vegetarians!  As they are robbing themselves of all the amazing pleasures of a perfectly cooked steak  :love5: to willingly do that to anyone even yourself is about as evil as it gets.

I don't miss meat and steak wasn't especially appealing when I did eat it. A plate of uninteresting boiled vegetables tended to make meat seem more desirable than it was.

I also appreciate the money I'm saving. I can make a decent tasting nutritious meal for about 60p and a fairly ok version for about 45p.

This. You learn to cook more exciting meals when you don't have meat, so its easy to forget about.

I actually won't eat pigs specifically because they are the only animal commonly eaten by westerners that are sophisticated enough to have unique personalities.

Cows and Chickens on the other hand are dumb as rocks, and most fish might as well be plants they are so dumb...

Also, if someone else ordered pig I will still eat their left overs because that does not mean more pigs get slaughtered.

This is true.  Some veggie food really is awesome but I'd never completely give up meat.

they are dumb,
because humans have selected for dumbness
(easier to pen and herd)
and for other characteristics
over generations of breeding them

if you ever meet a wild hen or cock,
you won't find them dumb

not sure if any of the original cows
are still about in the wild

One of the reasons why Ben Franklin wanted the Wild Turkey to be the national bird of the US. Either that, or he really liked to drink hard liquor.

Well East Coast cows are hip, I really dig those styles they wear
and the Southern cows with the way they moo, I eat them up when I'm down there
The Mid-West farmer's cows they really make you full all night
and the Northern cows, with the with the milk they make, I drink it all just out of spite
But I wish they all could be California cooooows
