Questions to the UK folk

Where did people stay in 2009? 

What was ideal about that?
Was anything inconvenient about that?
Could we beg AFP for a special Ninja gig if went there again?

But seriously:

Convenience of location VS novelty (not that novelty can't be convenient)
self made entertainment VS nearby attractions (not that both can't happen)

Good to know what uniquely appeals about camping beyond meeting up.

We stayed in Lancashire or something. I can't remember, I was really sick so the whole thing is a blurry mess in my mind. I do remember a brief attempt at a sing-along but also other better stuff like a campfire on a beach (was it a beach? I don't know!) and Sarah making the best tea OF ALL TIME.
And there was a car boot sale and stuff?

It was really good except for the bit where I got such a bad headache that I went temporarily blind but that didn't really affect anyone but me anyway.

It'd be really nice to do it again and maybe not die.

I don't think it was heatstroke. I think it was just because I probably wasn't eating right or sleeping enough...It's something I get fairly often and those are normally the reasons.
I swear it wasn't in Penrith because it took us way too long to get back to Carlisle for that to be it (I'm probably wrong but I'm so tired that I do not care). Either way, it was nice. The other place you're talking about sounds nicer though. More to do and stuff.

Getting Amanda there is a long shot, but if you're flexible,
you might wait to see what her summer schedule is like.

she could well be in Edinburgh in August,
and you might catch her to-ing or fro-ing.

It's was a nice area and I liked the campfire stuff at the beach. We had so much fun! I also remember lots of cats and cows. And a father, chasing a kid with something in his hands for 'a spanking' or something... but that part is a bit of a blurry memory.

I also remember, that the night, before we drove up to Sarry and the campsite, we stayed at Lucyanna's and we watched the LONGEST movie EVER.

I vaguely remember the kid getting chased. I can't remember what was happening but I do remember everyone being like 'what the fuck is going on?'

I remember not realising that the thing on your arm was a surface piercing, Anne, but thought I'd better ask before I flicked it off your arm. Good job I asked. :p
