So, I'm in the process of buying INSANELY expensive tickets to the Halloween show (I'm an idiot. Let's leave it at that.)
But, I live waaaay out of town and was wondering if anyone would A) be able to put me up for the weekend of the show, or B) be interested in splitting a hotel room near the venue?

Well she has been hanging out with John Cameron Mitchell, and he is from NYC . . . my fingers are crossed for a guest appearance from the one and only Hedwig Robinson, of course it could be anybody!   :headbang:

you are silly.  john cameron mitchell [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Cameron_Mitchell] is amazing.  "hedwig and the angry inch" [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hedwig_and_the_Angry_Inch_(film)] is a fantastic film with a beautiful soundtrack.

any performance with jcm and amanda would be sure to be nothing short of phenomenal!

OK, so I typically record most shows I head out too, particularly the AFP sets. Be that as it may, this very special show happens to fall on my first wedding anniversary, and I would like to be able to enjoy the show without being rigged up.

Sooo, cutting to the point, is anyone else planning on recording high quality audio for this? If so, I'll pass and Robyn and I can just enjoy! I know there are plans for the multicam video, but I'm talking about a good audio rig (good stereo mics, amp, 16/44.1+ wav).

so excited!

Multiple sources are always a good idea...  It's insurance against any of the many things that can cause
a bad recording: technical, venue-staff, or audience-related....

I think people should tape/record the Boston shows, since they're playing both main albums in their entirety+ much more it will be a more comprehensive documentation.

Did anyone happen to find an iPhone last night? Pink flowery case? It's mine, and I kinda really desperately need it back.
