shadowbox make a shadow box competition!

in aide of Amanda's recent post about the origins of the shadowbox.... I would like to propose that we have a shadowbox competition to make shadow boxes!  if you do not know already a shadow box is a shallow box a bit like a picture frame in which several objects or a vignette are displayed ...here are a few examples....




these should give you a rough idea of the sort of thing im talking about.......
anyone up for it? any prize recommendations? any willing judges?

I do not think it has to be DD AfP related..... as it is a Shadowbox competition for us forum users here not one aimed at Afp etc in particular....... len you just got yourself a judging job.....

why? it is a competition for all on the shadowbox..... not something to do with personal work or non box related stuff....

is for d.dolls/a/b related art
not non-related art even by d.dolls/a/b fans

so the question is where art inspired by the
board's name belongs

I'm in the middle of a dozen little projects, so I think I won't add any new
artistic endeavours.

I might allow myself to be drafted to judge, but only as one of a panel.
I have no desire to be any sort of sole-arbiter...

I think apanel of judges is a good plan so far potential judges are myself, CeeGBee and Lentower.... i would take part but it seems silly considering it was my idea and i will probably be making the prizes

i'd truly love to enter, but i'm really not up to it timewise, to be honest.  and it wouldn't be fair to call for a hold so i could finish something i procrastinated...so i might make one later in the spirit of the thing, because the idea i have is a good one, but the search for materials and time it would consume i just won't have for the next few months.  but for the time being i'd still like to play.  so, yanno. :headbang:
