Could be a very interesting, and unique show. I see it now, out in some farmer's field over Darfield ways, sitting in a sizeable crack in the ground with the ukulele.

I am still hopeful The Dresden Dolls will be in the second line up for Big Day Out but it's unlikely. I would prefer that they'd just come here to tour than just for The Big Day Out but if they were added to the line up it means they are bought out!

Amanda performing as part of The Sydney Festival would also be awesome... so much happening in January next year and so little money!!!

In Melbourne-

The fairfield amphitheatre is an outdoor stone amphitheatre right next to the river with bush around





maybe not so good on practicality/capacity...

there^ it says a capacity of 350 seated, but people could so bring picnic rugs and sit on the grass  /rafts and sit on the river...


and it does say its powered, has lighting, ticket box and toilets. even a fridge apparently... what more could you want?

Yes... Maybe it was an old date in the newsletter. It's a whole month after the Sydney show does sound a bit strange but Amanda did say she is going to try and stay in this hemisphere until march...

Apparently Amanda and Jason Webley are going to be at the Webstock conference in NZ 14-18 Feb, so she could still be in the area then
