yes that bad :(

Nerves got the better of me after an Ambulance incident 3mins into test.
2 serious faults and clocked up 4 safety minor ticks which made a third serious fault
In short worse performance than 1st test.

Do you have access to a suitable car and parking-lot (or the like) to just practise your basic
maneuevering, without the added stresses of traffic and an assessor staring over your shoulder?

I'm taking my practical test the day after tomorrow. I don't think I've ever been more nervous about anything in my life ever.

Took me 1 year, 50 lessons and £1000+ to pass my driving test. I did pass it first time, but boy was it a lot of work to get there. (I actually failed the theory first time, bloody hazard perception.) I passed 2 years ago this month and haven't driven since I switched off the engine on the test. I guess the point of this is it may take a fuck load of work but you'll get there EVENTUALLY. Though you could be proud if you beat that woman who has taken and failed her test around 50 times and gained a place in the world book of records? (silver lining and all that...)

D'aww, too bad, Johnny... when you do the test, is it only you and the judging instructor person in the car? we get to take an extra person to the test, to sit next to us in the car, which usually calms people's nerves. If there is a possibility to take someone you know to the exam, do it!

went on my last practice drive today. It went more or less like that picture Johnny posted. I think I almost caused 3 accidents.

Did any of them get a good enough look to identify you to the police?

No?  Then don't worry about it.....

Took me 3 attempts.

But, from what I can remember, I did much better once I started combining 2 lessons at a time. ie 2 hrs, giving me more time to get used to the vehicle before having to end the lesson.

I'm sure you'll get there  O0
