A status update from Brian's facebook page has him commenting that there will be more dates, and one of his comments above it seems to respond to a fan asking about california tour dates by saying that they will be coming to CA.

http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#!/brianviglionemusic?v=wall&story_fbid=436274568769

"There are more dates coming. i will explain everything in a big happy blog on my new web site tomorrow if everything gets set up tonight. Keep fingers crossed. PS- I am so fucking happy.
You guys don't even know how hard it was to keep m...y mouth shut since JUNE about this. I was dying!! DYING!!
More tomorrow, friends."

for those who didn't see it.

Unless he's planning a new blog, from what I gathered on Brian's site was basically - if it was up to him without any restrictions anywhere - whether it be a schedule issue or other commitments, if he had his way in a perfect world the tour would be longer but what's up now is what works and right now he's keeping the future open for more touring.

To me, saying "I would like to tour more" does not translate to "we will post more dates for this tour" but stranger things have happened.

i read brian's post, much the same way

these days,
both amanda's and brian's lives have alot more going on than just being the d.dolls.
very different from the first 8 years of the d.dolls.

i suspect and hope there will be more d.dolls touring,
but there will definitely be more awesome art and music from both of them

Anyone else from Philly making the trek?
I am! My friend and I are taking a bus up and then just heading back after the show cause we don't have money for a hotel.

Does anyone have an idea as to who the special guests are?

hotels are expensive - however hostels may be very affordable - check some out and see?

driving down from north of boston early halloween morning, driving back after the show. long day for me and 2 friends, totally worth it though. just gotta figure out parking/transportation in the city area. any suggestions from anyone? i've never driven in or around NYC, i dont know if its like boston where you can park somewhat outside the city and just take the subway in (much cheaper and easier in boston, albeit a little longer). anyone have any suggestions?
alternatively, if a boston tour date is added i'll probably just sell my tickets for a good value (right around face value to another fan or 3) and go to that. but that doesnt seem very likely at this point sadly

Personally, I wouldn't park at the edge of the subway system and try to ride in unless you know the area you're parking in (and it feels like that's a negatory). There's usually some decent street parking in the city, but with it being Halloween, it might just be crazy. You could perhaps check the idea of parking near the MetroNorth trains, which come into Grand Central from outside the city. Map here. For reference, it takes about forty five minutes to get between Mamaroneck and Grand Central. Some of the train stations may have parking lots you can park your car in for the day. I'm not sure on the cost of that.

Edit to add: This is another useful link in regards to traveling in: http://www.mta.info/mnr/

i totally agree. the end of the subway systems are not the nicest places to leave your car parked. metronorth is a great alternative but can be a bit costly (check the mta website for pricing). most parking lots for metronorth are free on the weekends, but be aware that trains stop running at about 1:45am and will not pick up again until 5:30am and november 1st is a weekday so extra charges will apply on the train for peak fares (morning rush hour) on your way back to the car.

Crazily discovered a load of my mates in the UK are going to NYC for Halloween, but not to see the Dolls but to see the World/Inferno (that Brian played with for a fair while). Crazy idiots. Apparently they have a big annual Halloween thing. Huh, dudes, the Dolls are playing, priorities yeah, tsk.

I would choose the Dolls over WIFS, all other things being equal.  That said, WIFS tix are available
or possibly even in-hand?  I'm sure they'll have a blast.  They're an amazing live band (my first mosh,
at age 42.... ;D )
