i was curious so i just measured my waist and hips, because i always feel my hips look ridiculous compared to my waist, and it turns out i have 27inches waist and 36inches waist...
and to me the difference is just...TOO MUCHO :p
Curves are not ridiculous!!! I think that woman up there is, uh, odd...but curves are normally quite amazing things.
Just for fun I measured and I'm 30/40 and I'm damn hot so watch yo-self.
Just to give this another aspect, there's a lot of research done on what men find attractive (this is unconscious, evolutionary stuff to make sure the woman is healthy etc). In developed countries where access to food isn't a problem, the most attractive-rated women have waist-to-hip ratio of 0.7. Yours are both 0.75. So if you think that's a ridiculous difference, it's not, it's seen as attractive, and were there a bit more of a difference, it'd be "ideal". Curves do indeed rock.
...just in case anyone asks, the waist-hip ratio is not depended on size, so a woman with 35inch hips and 25 inch waist is seen equally attractive to one with 42inch hips and 29inch waist.
