Oh. And I also can't understand how come you're starting to sell new merch if you're still busy with christmas orders.

I am happy to report I received my package today!! Very happy with all the merch I ordered, and all the little extras that were included. A special thank you to Beth for making all this happen, Rachel for her responses thru email getting things cleared up, and Laura for packaging my order. I know others are still waiting and I hope you all receive your purchases soon.

I also got my order today! It made my week. Thanks to the whole PWT crew for making this happen and to Katie, for packaging my order. Despite the whole delay, I'm glad the stuff finally got here, it's awesome. :D

I got some stuff that I also ordered from PWT today and I am very happy! To be honest, it didn't take as long as I was expecting considering the things I've been reading on the board. I think doing things this way is working. Good things come to those who wait....or something like that!  :headbang: Anyway, thanks to the always awesome Beth, Team Chaos and everyone at PWT! You guys rock!

Sigh, more problems. Got a note from Royal Mail saying they won't deliver it because the sender did not pay enough to send it, so obviously I have to cover the charge and pick it up, I think around half of what I paid for the package. So it's 2 months late and more expensive than expected, sad to say I'm not optimistic about the new PWT system. I don't want to give Beth et al a hard time but I have to be honest about my disappointment in ordering from them, might not be doing it again unfortunately.

I got exactly the same note...apparently it's because you have to pay VAT on anything ordered from America that's over £18...and then the Royal Mail shoves on a massive handling fee. Unfortunately there's no way too pay this before the package comes into the country. Basically it's nothing to do with PWT, it's our crappy postal service. That's why I'm going to order things separately from now on, to keep the totals under £18.

^I think someone in another thread or earlier in this one mentioned the same problem, and apparently if it's sent as a gift you don't have to pay the VAT on it or whatever it is. I don't know how true that is, but it'd be something to look into for your next order.

Ah, thanks for that guys, I did just send PWT an e-mail asking for a refund of the extra cost but if it's the fault of Royal Mail (which is NOT surprising) then all's well. What a stupid, stupid system. I'll still wait to see what they say, since the note said it wasn't a customs charge but was the fault of the sender, just want this all cleared up and done with! Because if I remember rightly I did buy the $35(ish?) ukulelehead bundle, and that came through with no problem, no extra charge, but I guess that's near the £18 limit considering the exchange rate?

Ordering things from overseas is just a pain in the ass in general, so I'm always apprehensive/pissed when things go wrong.

Hey guys, I have a question/request. Would it be possible to buy the We are the media-tie alone? As much as I would like to buy the whole bundle I can't really afford it but I'd still love to be able to buy the tie.  :)

Hey just wondering if anybody knows what's going on with the site, there's no Dresden Dolls or AFP items aside from the Down Under items. I'm guessing it's just another site revamp? I went ahead and ordered the AFP calendar, it's on sale  ^-^, hopefully it's not already soldout. I've been meaning to order the new cd and some other items soon, when I ever have the cash, I still don't own the WKAP and Dolls books  :o

We're doing inventory now, so anything we didn't have a firm count on is offline.  Items will be added back in as they are counted and then when we're done with the inventory-ing next week, there will be some older items, some new ones and a bunch of great sales.  :)
