This is the "I think I can" thread, so that maybe you will know you can.
I think I can learn Aerial Silk.
So I'm going to start (jazz) dancing again (egahds, it's been years) to get my flabby bits more invisible. I should also probably lift weights...but getting in shape first is probably a good step. James wants to dance as well, so it'll be fun to take classes together and perhaps encourage both of us to follow through.
I think I can Roller Derby.
I know, I know, everyone and their Aunt wants to be Ellen Page.
But I've been roller skating since I was five and wanting to kick ass since fetus.
So, I am going to start skating again regularly before I invest in good skates, hopefully getting in shape at the same time, and when awesome wonderful health insurance magically occurs I'll start investigating a good team.
I should also check out Roller Derby matches. I'm sure I'm making a really dangerous activity candy coated in my head. Yayy.
I think I can sail a boat.
But I can't swim. (not very well anyway)
So SWIMMING LESSONS come summer.
