I'm interested. But does this mean that they're NOT making the movie musical that was being hinted at? That sucks.

They should just do both... do the book as a miniseries, so there's lots of time for dialogue & character development and the musical as a movie, so you have the budget for high quality musical numbers. But no Hillary Duff please. Although I imagine she'd play the role of a blonde bitch quite well.

i agree.  i mean, stephen shwartz (sp)?  didn't he write the shitrag music that was most of godspell?  the book was AMAZING.  the musical was.........visual. 


seriously, yay tech, but the songs are godawful.
