AWESOME !!!!  I love Charlie Rose, by the way !!!!!  I love Keith Olbermann as well !!!  THANKS FOR THAT !!!!!  Are you going to any of the shows in December????  We could FINALLY meet up !!!!

they might be early January or both

it depends on the dates,
but I expect to make a few of them

Thanks for your message Len, I actually hadn't seen this interview. I adore her, and Lucia is one of my favorites. It's a bit long, but some of the most sublime music there is. This woman can sing anything. I particularly like the way that she describes the experience of singing. It's definitely akin to an out of body experience when things are lined up.  I also love that she puts theater above the music. Too me opera is nothing more than a specific KIND of theater. It's nice to see a singer voicing that.  The opera world needs more singers... and more DIRECTORS to agree. Thanks again for posting it!

the standard rep, particularly, screams for a singer with acting skills. when supers are yawning on the risers, you know sleeping upright is only an aria away....
