I was aiming more for the thumbnail, nut shell bios on web sights ...

mine doesnt exist so mines worst to me ......niel gaimans is best writers ....mmm.. I dont know the name of the best for physical things  Ill go look one I like up thnks samara

ah man in my theory class for at school last year, my lecturer thought the best way to teach us how to write a good artist statement is to find the worst ones we can and read them out.
we found some really, really terrible ones haha

ah man in my theory class for at school last year, my lecturer thought the best way to teach us how to write a good artist statement is to find the worst ones we can and read them out.
we found some really, really terrible ones haha

i can see how that could prevent you from repeating their mistakes,
but how does it prevent you from making new ones?

out of all we read its hard to believe more mistakes can be made :P

also we read good ones to give us an idea of what we should be doing haha

I have always found the writing of artist statements to be extremely tedious.....as it always boils down to: here is my art, it is what i do, if you cannot understand why I do it then you probably arent looking at it properly...
