I give him some credit admitting his faults though it is sad it took him 3 times...

In a way it is a respectable way to go out because I think some cult leaders are just scam artists.  The ones who try to predict such things must at least be honest because they would not put themselves in a falsifiable position if they did not believe their own bullshit.
