Thank you for the listens folks!  The contest closes tonight and then it'll be voting time so hopefully I can drum up some support.  To that end I've officially changed the title to "Merkin 9 To 5", it seemed to be the popular choice.

I'm very sorry that I broke The Shadowbox.  It crashed literally within a couple of hours of me signing up and leaving my first posts.  I hope that isn't a sign from the punk cabaret gods...

Valentine's Day and general good music love to you all!

Hey, you're on the shadowbox too!  Good work man, it's great that there are AFP fans in the contest as well as the Indaba regulars, means we get lots of variety!  Just gave you a listen and a vote, I liked what you did with the timing of the vocals, original approach!  Are there any other shadowboxers in the contest?

I hope there are more competitions like this in the future, it's been fun!

Thanks man,
I listened to yours as well, quite good.

Have you done other contests?
I did the Family of the Year contest last month, debating on some of the current contests... Do you a subscription or free membership? I'm thinking about getting the subscription, but I'm really really poor right now!

Here is my remix

http://www.indabamusic.com/submissions/show/44823

Would love to hear some feedback from you diehard AfP fans!?!
Would be sweet to hear this performed live with a full percussion section and crunchy electric guitars :-P awesome!

I've been going through the mixes on the voting pages, some are totally unique from the original song and some are really cool spins on the main idea of the song. I've voted for a few that really stand out to me. So far my favorite one is : http://www.indabamusic.com/submissions/show/46965 it's so simple but i like that it has a different, more peppy feel to the song, smooths out the edges in a way.

That is a great mix. Really unique and such a fun swinging feel.
