Map of Tasmania inspired jewelry

I thought some of you would get a kick outta this... I just finished this afp inspired necklace this evening. I hope you enjoy it.

Thank you so much for the compliment! I want to make a pair of earrings too. Actually, I have a few ideas bouncing around in my head. (i am completly a aadd person)

 And thank you for posting the image! I forget how to post them. I know you click the insert image icon and paste the link, but there is something else that needs done to get it to show.

I think about 10-12 min of hand work per charm.

All the steps put together from start to finish, I would say I could complete 1 piece in an hour and a half. (When I etch the design I do many pieces at a time.)

I am using hand tools at the moment and draw the designs freehand.

is that a hunk of alabaster?  the veins are awesome.  the jewelry is cool too, i don't mean to not notice it; the lettering is fantastic.  any kind of piercework or etching is difficult, and this looks really good.

thats a gorgeous piece of rock, though.
