Hey hey, this is pretty beans :) And it's of one of my faves from her book!

I clicked the link and checked out your deviant art- I love the Zombie pic. Plus, I'm curious as to why you won't do babies or bicycles (:

Very simple reason, they never come out looking like what they are supposed to be although I have a greater chance of drawing a bicycle than a baby/toddler (and that is probably because I am not terribly fond of either).

I used Painter 11 but I have it loaded with Painter Classic brushes.  I used the sable oil brush from Painter Classic, which is what I use for most of my paintings as it really gets me the look I like.  And thank you. I appreciate the compliments! =D

I was actually trained with traditional media and like to work the same way.  I just don't have space to actually paint with physical media these days.

personally i am lucky enought o be using an obscure corner of the local library as studio space! I am kind of an unnoficial artist in residence!
