Amanda's Cover of High and Dry, and Fire Spinning
« on: February 28, 2011, 09:30:42 AM »

Okay, so radiohead does make a cameo (Or Soundio...?) at the end, but I needed to fill the silence with something

My thoughts have been going out to the folks of Christchurch recently.  What better way to show my thoughts are with them than to spin fire poi, a performance art that originates from the Maori tribe of New Zealand, and is headquartered in Christchurch itself at Home of poi.

I made a few mistakes, and I wish I had actual music to dance to at the time this was being filmed... But I think Amanda's voice really takes the edge off my improv performance.

Awesome performance, well done! I've just started poi lessons three weeks ago - really hope to get this good!
