it's not that I dont want to Brigade, Paco...I do, I just don't feel like I have the right inspirations anymore to come up with brilliant truths.  Plus, with the way the Brigade got screwed over with True Colors and the Fringe...it's hard to have faith that this is all going to be fine and dandy.

I see, but then again, the Brigade got screwed over at True Colors and the Fringe because they were not this situation we have here, where the Dresden Dolls are in charge. TC and EF Brigades got screwed because the producers didn't know what the Brigade was supposed to be doing.

As for the inspirations, I hear you.  I hear you.

I would really love to join the brigade. I was supposed to last tour. I am up for pretty much anything. I have a working sewing machine and maddening creative mind. I live in Ct, and was actually already planning on attending the Boston show.
Yay!  You're here!!

Yes! You bet your southern can!

I have some ideas floating around in my head. But I am not sure if a theme has been set yet? Paco, I really love your grim reaper idea. You're costumes have always been a great inspiration.

What a great night, excluding the puking detail.

at the EF, the producers got sold on what the Brigade was by their excellence
that is, they came around through Brigade education
from what i've heard from Liz and others

definitely better for the DD to be in charge

If my roommate's okay with it, some people can stay at my house.  This is NOT an open invitation.  Ask me off the board.

Tash, I can give you a ride from Baltimore to Philly (with your friend and hoops), but not from Philly to Boston.

omg paco, that would be amazing.

I think I'll take you up on that Balt--> Philly ride.

I'd love to bring back my Art Of The Mix that I did in San Francisco.  And yes, there is also statuing...but I'd want to take it to a new level of expression, of course.

The last year for me has been quite the downer.  I'm trying to find something that moves me.  I have a little time, I think.

hey let's start brainstorming themes...

how about the Sumerian myth of the Goddess Innana-Ishtar's descent into the underworld.  Or Hades/Persephone, you know whatever.  It is winter, after all, the dark time.

I'm probably going to be the grim reaper.  I might give out fortunes vaguely surrounding a person's death.  like "I'll see you soon."  or  "You will live a long life; do some good with it."  stuff like that.

I have been thinking about something with lots of tulle and a broken parasol/umbrella with pieces of my skirt attached to the ends of the umbrella. i was thinking about bubbles too, but i am not sure how i am tieing it all together. some suggestions would be lovely. I am not familiar with that myth, could you tell me more?

That would be wicked.

I'm still brainstorming. I'm also thinking about have a tea set maybe on a table when I might be sitting drinking tea and giving out little gifts int he sugar or cream holder when someone sits down with me, or I could be hold a tray with it.

I also love your avatar. I used to watch that show every time it was on, I had a very big crush on that particular fellow.
