Up until just two minutes ago I thought the lyrics in Dirty business go "Am I the first to go" (original line being "Am I the poster girl").

Mandy Goes to Med School:

Real: "It's got a nice ring."
What I heard forever: "It's got an ice rink."

I totally only just realised that ice-rinks do not feature and have no place in that song. I vote we keep singing the old line for solidarity ;)

There's only one song [-Map of Tasmania. My dad helped with that one...] where I have had issues making out what Amanda's saying...

"Wide offenses" (which is odd, because "whiter fences" makes more sense with my selective hearing interpretation of this song ;D)
"Technical acceptance"
"Who needs love when there's some uncomfort"
"We stop you"
"You're honor roll"
"You oughtta know"
"Burberry vices" (I heard "Brrr-brrr-ey")
NO SUNDAYS WERE HEARD. Yes they were. What the hell.

I think the brass and shit distracts me, I'm always trying to figure out what instruments were used and see if I can transcribe it without putting effort into it. ;D But holy shit (it’s a nice word), I can hear her perfectly in EVERY other song. I could practically recite Girl A. before I looked at the lyrics (poor example, she over-enunciates in that one). Amanda’s probably the easiest singer for me to understand, mainly because of how few instruments each song uses. She enunciates really well, but it’s more than that. I guess the “simplicity” of piano and drums makes her voice stand out more, so Leeds is trickier for me.

EDIT: Also, just realized "People screaming just like they should" is the correct lyric in Guitar Hero, not "people screaming jump like they should."

i thought that in Delilah it was:
"he's gonna beat you like a panel"
cause y'know... a panel beater?
turns out it's "pillow"
darn. :-\
