this just opened today: world's longest bridge over water, connecting Qingdao, China to some island offshore.

26.4 miles (about 40 km) offshore.

you could literally run an entire marathon on it.

not the prettiest bridge, but it was completed in just under 4 years.

Prague: the only place in the world with Cubist architecture. All other examples of that style of architecture were lost during WWII for the most point.
