she was in 'company?'  now she's murdering sondheim again?  after what she did to sweeney todd?

i'd like her myself, if she were not tone deaf.  a lot of folks argue with me.  my best friend thinks i am a heretic.  but i cannot stand patti lupone.

I can't stand Barbra Streisand or Bernadette Peters.

i used to love barbra as a teenager, but that was when all i had from her was my mom's old funny girl record, and the 'people' album and a couple of early ones.  it wasn't till the broadway album that i got over her, because i realized she was in love with her own voice.

bernadette came to my town not too long ago, and i didn't go see her.  ten years or so ago that would have excited the hell out of me, but i've gotten weary with her too.

i will always love liza though.

So this season so far has been awful.
Song choice has been terrible, bar a few mildly entertaining show tunes.
Yet they manage to redeem themselves in the last 10 minutes of the new episode.
The Adele mash-up was kick ass, as was the general story at that point.

However a two week break until the next episode does not please me.

It's weird. I don't like this show but I feel like I should. It's right up my alley and it has Jane Lynch!

i kinda like the puck-shelby story line...it's a bit more ''grown up'' than other stuff. also, i'm really curious about the outing santana bit...and how it's going to end...

Yeah, I don't really have any issues with Puck/Shelby (Shuck? Pelby?) either. I'm really glad Santana slapped Finn in the face, because I have been waiting for that for quite a while now. And what he did, it's just so wrong. Even if Santana says things that might be quite harsh, you don't out someone. That's worse.

I keep on hearing how people dislike season 3, but I think it's pretty okay. Although episode 5 sucked so bad! I skipped 80% of the episode, Naya pretty much saved it a bit for me.

i really like the ''i kissed a girl'' episode... it was very touching. i'm really happy that glee talks so loudly about certain topics... i do think that TV can help a LOT with acceptance and simply fighting ignorance.  :love5:
i do hope puck and shelby stay together, also...  :love3:

There was a lot wrong with last night's episode. But the things that were right, were really really good. Especially Santana's coming out scene was very well done. Painful and moving. I admit, I sobbed like a baby.

i'm really curious to see where the storyline goes... and the rachel thing.

i'm not a huge fan of the santana-britney story...it doesn't seem like they're on the same level, you know?
it just doesn't seem very realistic (though it's probably not the point, i get it), santana is superhot and grown up
while britney is really a bit weird and very childish...

mmmm...thoughts?

The writers can sometimes annoy me with Brittany. Like the Christmas episode last year, that was just ridiculous. I do ship Britt and San, and I am really glad they are finally together. I don't know, I shipped them since somewhere in season 1, so I'm at the point of no return :P They are meant for each other, and I can't get that out of my head.

I also think Brittany and Santana bring out the best in each other. Like the season 2 episode Sexy and episodes after that, Brittany said some really really clever things to Santana. And Santana, when she is around Brittany she lets her guard go down and is a really sweet person.

brittany's pretty much my favorite character on glee.  and i'm so sick of the puck/whatshername baby momma thing.  besides, in most of the shows his mohawk is on crooked.

incidentally, i have always found the idea of lesbian cheerleaders rather farfetched.

So I had mixed feelings about the new episode.
It was better than I expected, but I had very low expectations.
Jolene and Constant Craving were fantastic, but the rest of the music sucked as was expected.

Tired of the Puck/Shelby storyline, hoping they'll give Quinn a little more of a breakdown. She has potential for a great storyline and they're not doing it well (surprise surprise)
Very pleased about Rachel being banned from sectionals, I think it might mean some numbers that aren't completely driven by her.

I think I might have to come to hate Kurt, I've always hated Blaine but now I think I hate Kurt too. (especially the things he was wearing this episode, good god)

EDIT: And as always, Finn needs to leave and not come back and at this point take Puck with him. I'm really tired of all of Pucks songs.

I thought the whole "I'm Finn and I forced you out of the closet out of love now i'm going to lead the glee club in singing patronizing songs about you cuz you were the first lady I stuck my dick into" was annoying.

Wtf did they do with girls wanna have fun.

Jolene was great, and bieste and sue and Brittany and Santana and Kurt and Blaine should have their own very queer show.

I love Blaine and Kurt and their song, but whoever is doing kurt's wardrobe is on too many drugs.

Santana's coming out speech to grandma was amazing, as was her grandma's response back.  I hope rachel's plot means she's singing and acting less in the next episode.
