BOSTON/NEW ENGLAND/NORTHEAST

I have found DATES to be effective when getting things done is a concern.
Let's set dates and deadlines.
Lets get a list for each location, including who will be taping, who will be taped, and where shenanigans will occur. Yes?

I'd be happy to head up Boston organization. I need someone with a camera or access to a reliable one that can go digital. I can edit so long as I can get raw footage on to my laptop, but I can't burn a DVD.

I like the idea of being filmed/filming a day in the life type thing, and then meeting up at a designated point in the city. A well-known Boston Landmark, and taking it over. We've done something like this with the block of Comm Ave outside the Paradise for the Paradise DVD. We've also done it outside the Orpheum.

So, let's take something like Lansdowne Street (the street that runs along side Fenway Park), Boston Common, or something along those lines and just have a lot of fun performing and entertaining anyone who wants to watch.

We can combine this with bits of interview with Brigaders.

Yay? Nay? Too much like the doc on the Paradise DVD?

Side note, I don't care if it is too much like something else. The sad fact of the matter is that a lot of what we do is largely ephemeral, and should be documented.

How about the end of August?
-edit

OR the same time the Amsterdam folks are..or general time frame. I think it would be fantastic (if it could work for people's schedules) to have all these different things happening the same day in different parts of the world

i can definitely film the boston date if a camera is provided.  if not, there's a good chance i could have access to a "professional" camera and editing suite.

If we do a Boston date, I'd love to come down and do costume fittings (for Roxma and possibly, mary.creepshow.) I can film (but I can't bring a camera) and possibly statue... I have just finished a fabulous flapper dress!

It's a 1920's style dress

A flapper dress is a 1920's styled dress... it's kind of Chicago-esque.
(I've taken it out statue-ing once, and it went very well. I'd love to do it again, though.)

worn in movies about that period, e.g.
the movie of the musical Chicago

during the 1920's, worn widely, at least in the US

viewed by some as a step in the women movement,
as they were much shorter then those worn before
US women got the right to vote (in 1919?)

also allowed much greater freedom of movement

an attractive style that enhances the beauty of women who wear them

perhaps someone could link in a few images?

Sure...

my dress is inspired by this... kind of. Well, it's the closest "idea" I had to what my dress came out as...
(I'm hotlinking, so I'll take these images down soon!)

Others

etc. Mine is white (different fabrics, but all the same color) and I have shoes/tights. When I statued originally, I did it in panface (with oxblood lips) with a cloche (bell-shaped hat) to hide my hair. I had a white basket filled with red apples and another apple that I'd taken a bite out in my hand (like I was eating it...)
