Atlanta Brigade!

Firstly, WOAH! I'm back! And since my last appearance on the Shadowbox, I've moved twice. Crazy.

Secondly, ATLANTA! The show's January 11th. Who's going? What acts are people going to be doing? Will they match Amanda's unannounced theme? Let's get this party started!

i'm definately going and hopefully brigading. i'm thinking of making and handing out homemade paper dolls with quotes, lyrics, ect. on them.

i'm not sure yet. i've got several ideas for characters that i'd like to try out, so i'll probably use one of them. i'm not sure about the doll thing; it depends on what character i go with and what other ideas i come up with. if amanda announces the theme any time soon i might try to match that, but if not then i'm just going to do my own thing since i need time to sew my costume, make stuff, fine tune, ect. are you doing anything?

i will very possibly be brigading at this show.  flying in from tucson...  i've been out of the loop for quite awhile, but am jumping back in with lots of umph.

current idea: Miss Jacqueline Box, revolutionary hoop-erstar.  hooping in a tall white wig, powdered face and corset (think french revolution).  keep me in mind, it'll be nice to meet you all.

ok- i've decided what i'm doing. i'm wearing a corset, dress, and hat (a la victorian era) all in shades of grey with black lace fingerless gloves. i'm going to be passing out grey silk roses with drawings based on the dolls' lyrics wrapped around the stem and tied with grey ribbon.

Oo. Sounds pretty, best thing.

It'd be nice to meet you too, rose. :D I was Marie Antoinette for Halloween. I'll have to find the pictures. It wasn't anything super great (I got the costume for free), but it was still pretty cool.

I'm thinking I want to paint something - set up an easel and just go with it. Or I could make balloon animals... I'll figure something out.

I'm flying in from New England to visit some friends, and it looks like I'll be able to make it to this show! First Brigade act outside of Boston or Providence!

Thinking of doing a walking-through-the-crowd costume, like a faerie or ghost or something. No clue what yet, but I'm brainstorming.

Hey everyone, I'm going to be brigading at the Atlanta show.

I'm thinking street theatre-monologues and improvisation with the crowd.
Also, I'm going to be handing out lolipops with happy quotes and advice on them.
I'm very excited to meet some Brigaders, I live in Macon so fans come in short supplies.

my brigade thing has changed slightly. the roses w/ drawings was a cool idea, but it was too much time wise. i'm now passing out origami roses made out of pieces of sheet music. i'll see you all on friday! look for me!

i made about 200+ peanut butter cookies last night!  and i still have a TON of glowsticks left from the birmingham show (which kicked ass. O0)   !!!

btw... i know the show is tomorrow, but i need some help passing out glowsticks!!  i won't be able to get back on here before then, so if you see me there and want to help, just mention this post and i'll give ya some to distribute!
