If so, you did a fantastic job!  Very beautiful, and wonderful outfit!

That was me.  ^.^  Thank you so much! I was really pleased with the way the outfit turned out.

Well then Shinigami, let me pay you the compliment directly.  You were my favorite brigader at the show!

i'm new at this torrent stuff...is it supposed to take hours upon hours to download? cause that's what it's doing. why not just mp3's -_-

If its okay with vanark, I'll convert to mp3s and upload zips of it. But it's really up to him; typically, you should just download it however the taper uploaded it and be thankful he uploaded it at all. It takes like 10 minutes to convert the files anyway.

And yes, it will take hours depending on the number of people downloading.

Oh, and not mp3s because mp3 is a lossy format. FLAC is lossless.

Hey all - what time did everyone hit the stage?  (Openers, etc.) compared to when the doors opened?  I'm making plans right now for a show and planning around work.

On another note, how awesome was the set?!  I am so jealous!!!  You were shown some serious love!

it varies from venue to venue
best to be there near show time,
if you wany to see the openers

some shows have local openers,
which usually take 5 to 15 mins each
they are seldom announced before the show

openers on the bill roughly start an hour apart
but that can vary

so far on this winter tour,
a+b sets have been an hour or more
depending on venue, schedule, their health, etc

best to ask on that show's thread, or start one

02. The Wall

Thanks for taping! One minor correction: this track is definitely "In the Flesh?". I'll try to nail down the Lumi setlist one way or another when I get my head together.

The reason I don't seed my shows in mp3 is because they loose a *LOT* of quality that way.  You can hear the difference when listening to mp3's vs. the lossless WAV files (or FLAC which is the same quality).  The fact of the matter is the show was recorded at 24 bit/48kHz which is even greater quality than CD-Audio (16 bit/44.1kHz) which is what these files are.  I understand the portability of mp3 files and I have an iPod jammed full of them, but I also have the lossless source files for those situations where I want to listen to them at better quality.

I try to explain it this way.  You have 2 piles of money, 10 bills each.  One is a pile of $1 bills, the other is $10 bills.  Which pile do you want?  I know which one I want, but by choosing mp3's, you are choosing the pile of $1 bills.  You can always get 10 $1 bills from the pile of $10 bills, but not vice versa.

I know people are going to convert them to mp3's and share them.  I can't stop you so I don't even try nor do I get bothered by it.  Just don't burn them as CD's and convert them back to mp3's - that is like a double whammy.

Enjoy.

would i be able to put it on my ipod or only listen to it through the computer?

Once you download it, you can convert the FLAC files to WAV or AIFF (lossless audio files) and them import them into iTunes and convert them to whatever bit rate you desire.

Because it was a really unexpected, sweet gesture that merits a hug.  *Nod*

I was trying to give the vegans strawberries.. Though for some reason people were convinced I had bacon.. I'll never understand that mixup.

Those were YUMMY strawberries. Oh my did I love them.

The whole "The Wall" problem was also my fault; I (am ashamed to say that I) have not listened to Pink Floyd, and was going off of what my mom told me. Sorry for the confusion.

It depends on your transfer rate.
If you're on a dial-up connection, 3 days isn't unthinkable.
