alright so ive never done this before, and you experienced brigaders are probably going to shit on me, but i have a question.

ive done alot of work with performance art, but now i must ask you, how does one get into performing with the dolls?

just do it... plan, prepare, and get out and do it. you can just buy a ticket to a show, show up, and do it up..


look at pictures of what people have done, so you kind of get and idea of how stuff works.. read about what other brigaders are doing. and when you get there, be respectful. of the band, of other brigaders, of space, and the audience.

brigading can be a lot of fun.


now, let's try to direct this thread to Boston brigaders for the 12/29 show. I'd just like to get the communication going between performers.

we're working on a shores theme

if anyone is game let me know

we're going to try to get some of those..big wooden boards..with someone else's body painted on..and a hole where you put your face. except...we want the bodies to be something provocative...possibly putting you face in someones body you'd never want to..I dont know..maybe something political. ideas ideas

also having some shores/carnies/circus beach freak type characters assisting people

and having a sand pool. where one can stick their hand it..and pull something out to keep. something shores related...gender related..dolls memoribilia crap related (stockings etc)..and some things that just flat out disturbing

hoping to have a whole installation for this. possibly in 5 cities.
