I think the story the map was taken from said something about a large group of Ashkenazian (sp?) Jews that carried that particular ginger gene settling in that region hundreds of years ago..

I read somewhere today that science has yet to prove that facebook "likes" cure poverty.  I hope they keep working on this important scientific issue.  I'm sure that all facebook users would like to think that they are making a difference.
