I will be there very very early and I will have a camera.
I'm not sure if I'll put something together myself, but I will be able to assist anyone that needs it.

perhaps i will fold some origami flowers and other shapes and write messages on them, and give those out.
my second idea is to make dream boxes, and perhaps sell them to benefit a charity that Amanda and Brian could choose. since this involves monetary transactions, and more work on my part, i would need official support and approval.

I'll be there, probably as the Grim Reaper on stilts, giving out death-related fortunes.  Maybe I'll have a new act by then, though.

Also Natasha Kouri and Sean will be there, and Lunazuga

Unless it would totally screw up whatever overall theme Amanda has in mind, I'm tempted to costume myself as a half-orc bard. The costume/persona that I have in mind is based on a really bad idea that I had for a D&D character.

So, I'm imagining a half-orc bard with a uke. I'm still working on the costume idea, though I'm thinking of having furry lime green boots.

I just need to say, "woot!" I'm really looking forward to this show. I've had a stressful month. This is my last semester at my college and I'm graduating on the 16th. I was so thrilled when I turned in one of my final term papers today.

I'm bouncing and giddy with anticipation. Woot.

Congrats from one pseudo-grad to another. :) I have a project due on Monday, and after that, I'm getting my M.S. Too bad I'm driving as usual, 'cause I was hoping to sucker people into buying me drinks at each show. Oh well.

Philly Brigade: won't be partaking, but I will be taking photos! Hope to see you there, especially you, in the 43rd row, with the funny hat.

=) Yes, it does seem like that would be clever.  Maybe you could all wear tan trenchcoats and sunglasses and grey fedoras like you're all spies.  pass off little cryptic notes and/or whisper secret messages to random people in the audience as if they're your contacts.  And act all sneaky when snapping pictures.

What if we had a small digital photo printer?

$$$ down the drain

And I deffinitly am liking this spy idea too..
I have a digital but
It's kinda trashed right now, my brother took it to a concert.. and he didnt care about the camera.. so.. :/
If I get it fixed by them *crosses fingers* deffinitly
but if not, I can run around and fake it with one of my older cameras.. or.. get my video camera and a long mic and record things and pretend like im listening in on people trying to pick up what they are saying.. maybe

I was talking to my friend who is going with me and i was telling her about the spy idea and she had a wonderful idea : D

Her idea was dress up as a news team and "interview" people in line and what not..
i like it (:
I might be able to record some of the interviews and use it in the documentry I was thinking about making on the show..

I havent thought much about times yet..
I forget when I went last year but I got there for the radio preview thing
and that was a good amount before, i had time to get some food and then stand in line for an hour or over
id like to get there a good chunk of time earlier than needed just to chill

I dont know if I want to bring my video camera to the show, im really back and forth because I was hoping i'd be able to pawn it onto my mom after the show started and she could tape it for me from the balcony if I get permission So I could watch the show and dance and be jovial but she said she doesnt want to
so that would mean I could stand in the back with a tripod and tape and possibly dance in the back or brave the crowd with it either way putting a damper on the evening
maybe I can bring the canon instead of the sony, it's a good deal smaller, like probably a billion times smaller.
the sony would just work nicely for the news crew bit..

FUCK.

So I was going to draw anyone who wanted to be drawn in vivid technicolor (aka my crazy-ass style).  And...I LEFT MY OIL PASTELS IN BALTIMORE. EVERY SINGLE FUCKING BOX.

Grrrrrrrrrr.  Hopefully I'll get some for Christmas/enough money for a good box.

Yes, other shit can work other than oil pastels...but...oil pastels are just so perfect for me.

I have some really cheap version of oil pastels/pastels chillin around somewhere in an art box.. but i think they're all half broken and probably rendered near useless..
but i do have these uhm.. like oil paints that take a life time to dry if anyone ( YOU) want them ): just because I don't want them, i find them and then want to use them, and then they dont dry for a month.
which nevermind. they would be useless to use for the show if they never dry.. but *cough*
i try

my creative gears are still turning for my brigade idea.. ill probaly still be creating an idea up to the hour before I leave

My elderly house cat may have saved Philadelphia from some bad ukulele playing and some bad singing.

Monday night, she savagely bit my right middle finger when I went to unhook her claws from my shirt after a mutually pleasant cuddle session. Apparently, she must have freaked out when I tried to free her claws. She bit into my finger 3-5 times in rapid succession in the same spot. The finger has been swollen since early Tuesday morning. I've been to my doctor and am on strong antibiotics. The light redness is spreading a little down into the rest of my hand. The finger hurts and its mobility is limited. Ouch.

In other news, I received an order of 8 kazoos in the mail. For fun, I stuck one into the mouthpiece of my homemade didgeridoo. It's interesting.

I just emailed Jen with my idea
what I'm going to be doing
is treating the waiting people like the red carpet
Critique their appearance and clothing
and joke with them
and continue on to interview them,
my friend and I are drawing pictures on photo sized paper
the pictures are just.. really funny people, that are drawn to look like a person with no talent or young child did them,
and as we talk/joke around, we'll somehow bring up the topic of seeing themselves or having a picture taken
and hand them one of the pictures we've drawn
and once the doors open, just follow them in and continue the whole act..

I have no idea what to wear yet
I was thinking maybe a prom/homecoming dress? or a really ridiculous horrible outfit
I bought one of those little furry "ghetto girl" jackets yesterday, the kind that goes below your boobs and suddenly stops existing, and i also bought yellow neon stockings..
So I dont know..

Think beyone the childish nature of this...When I was in disney in the spring there was this dude, he had a camera.. the directors chair all that crap and he was pretending to be a director, he was taking pictures of things and acting all big time, pretending to cast people, and giving out his fake card and just chatting it up
you could walk around and set up scenes and tell people to act something out, and teh scream at someone else that they are messing up your shot, pretend to cast people, take their pictures/take their pictures with their friends with a weird pose/expression, and then post them online and give them like your photobucket or flickr address like somone did last year...
(:
if you like that idea you could make a few ideas from that.. picky/funny/nasty director, demanding photographer running a photo shoot...
