I'm Ella, and I'm twenty-one, which doesn't seem real. (Clara is my middle name. There. Now you've almost got enough to commit fraud!) Joined because of the kickstarter houseparties - usually I avoid forums because they scare me.

Anyway, I'm from London, and I'm generally happy to chat. I'm also on Pottermore. I don't even like Harry Potter and I think Pottermore is ace.
You'll find we're a particularly scary bunch...

We like to ridicule new people for the slightest of reasons...
...like which House you got sorted into.

Seriously, you'd better watch yerself, cuz we're vicious.    O0

oh wait, no.  That is, in fact, completely not true.

^Oh, I dunno, it is a little bit true. I mean, everyone knows that Hufflepuff is where it's AT.

But the harshness will simply bounce off our badger-loving backs, because Hufflepuff rule :D

Hello! I'm Stefan, 45, German and I'm only beginning to familiarize myself with Amanda's art.

I'm looking very much forward to attending the art opening in London in June. I'll have a few hours in London before the event starts - any suggestions as to what I should spend that time on?

hi there!

I suggest posting your question in this thread:    http://www.theshadowbox.net/forum/index.php?topic=9209.0

we have a few 'Boxers in that area, and maybe one of them can help you out.

Hello  ^-^ I'm Shannon, not really new here but haven't been on in a while.. Between school and work I've been distracted. I'm 22 & just graduated college about a year ago with a BA in Anthropology, so I'm still figuring out what to do with my life. Huge fan of AFP and the Dolls! Yep, that's me.

I missed the shadowbox!

Good day to all, i am Leo, 26 year old from central Florida and i am a geek and proud of it.  I am a dabbler in many thing from theater, both on stage and off, to behind the scenes of music creation, to most anything technological.  While i am not sure how i first came across AFP but i know the first song i heard was Girl Anachronism and was just blown away by it.  I then was lucky enough to see the Dresden Dolls live in 2004 and as the saying goes, my mind was blown.  The energy and emotion of the show was amazing.  And here i am now, eight years later, supporting her on kickstarter for what seems to be the most amazing album yet, meeting some really great people on the live stream chat, and hoping to create the greatest online party for those of us who cannot go to house parties ever.

Greetings Earthlings. I'm a human being, mostly, but I live on a secret planet made by a friend of mine on the other side of the sun. I'm almost five thousand years old, married to my two best friends since a few centuries, and sworn to fight evil with my magical powers of steel, fire and truth.

I first heard of Amanda by way of Neil's blog, and for a while I was resisting to give her work a chance out of a crazy concern that I'd swallow it without thought as a mindless Gaiman fan. I guess I have this compulsion to fight my obsessions. But then came Amanda Palmer Performs the Popular Hits of Radiohead on her Magical Ukulele. (I never get tired of saying or writing that title.) Next thing I knew I was pledging to Kickstarter for the first time and declaring The Bed Song song of the year and generally increasing the amount of rock in my daily life. It seems like a sweet ride, and for once in my long life I think I've managed to get on it at something approaching the right time.

Hi ho Invis!

I hate to have to be the one to tell you, but the planet?  Not so secret...   :-\
The guy's got, like 20 of 'em, and he rents half of 'em out.  We have a couple other tenants
on here already (I won't name names as a matter of personal privacy, but they'll probably say
hi sooner or later.

Anyway, welcome!   :)

Not to get overly technical, but the lad and I are actually living on one of at least two planets occupying the same space opposite of Earth, in isolated pocket dimensions. It's possible he's keeping the true number secret even from me, but it doesn't seem crowded here so it's fine.

And thanks.  :love5:
