As for my old posts I have cringed at many yet some I would not respond any differently. For better or worse. I miss the brigade and the dolls community. A part of my youth I'll never forget.

Yes, very little activity here.  Facebook & Twitter are where the fans hang out these days.  Web sites that use & abuse them & are much less efficient to use.

I'm not sure if boards are that inefficient for use. Sometimes FB and Twitter are just awful to use, specially if you are trying to catch up in a conversation. What I think it kind of "killed" this board were the spam surge it start haunting us, plus, and that is my opinion, the band departure/hiatus.

yes, if the spam problem had been addressed more quickly we would probably have more active posters.  though it would have needed more than one intervention.  lot's of time for Amanda's very busy IT person.

other things that also left this forum for us very few faithful, include:

* Amanda not posting anymore

* Old fans moving on to other things
