BTW I have never used US public transportation, how good/bad is it? How easy would be to go from El Rey Theater to LA International Airport?  :S

US public transport varies from city to city

in LA, this trip could take several to many hours.
i'm not sure where the El Rey is

i have always rented a car in LA,
though I might try public transit next time,
as it's improving there

and you can do the web research as easily as I can

THE SHOW WAS UN-FUCKING-BELIEVABLE!

I finnally met Jessylou  :D she was all busy at the merch table!

The Petrojvic Blasting Co. were so warm, the music was so good ... well, beyond good you could feel the music in the air, and I'm not talking about fluid mechanics, the vibe of the band was awesome.

Jason stole the stage with the great intro he made, all so halloweeny (I think I have a video, if so I will upload it). Truly a Halloween show, he even dressed himself as a Tomato! IT WAS AWESOME!

Amanda, she was awesome but  not as halloweeny as Jason, she played a new song (that brought a tear to my eye) a few other songs and The Astronaut and Girl Anachronism with Jherek Bischoff on bass and Michael McQuilken on drums, which sounded awesome!

The trip was worth it, I had a great time at LA met two other fans at a bus stop and got to say hi to Jason and Amanda.

Will probably later post whatever media I got from the show.


BTW BIG BUMMER! I was ready to buy the Goes Down Under album at the merch table but THERE WERE NO ALBUMS AVAILABLE! There was just the Radiohead one (which I bought even if I don't like Radiohead) and WKAP. GIANTONORMOUS BUMMER, SERIOUSLY! I haven't been able to listen to the record ... It's unbelievable! :(
